Get to Know "Monroe"

Words cannot fully express just how exceptional Monroe is. Developmentally, she has surpassed any and all expectations that we have has as breeders. She is so intelligent that at times you wonder if she can truly understand human speech and conversation. I don't just mean following basic commands. Monroe converses with us in her own language and will often tell us about her day or "give us heck" if she is unhappy (usually when Posie has her favourite toy). She is keenly aware of emotional energy too. When feeling sick, sad, or not at our best, Monroe has figured out how to best soothe us. She climbs on top and just melts, like butter on popcorn. Her soft and warm energy has an amazing comforting quality that is beyond therapeutic. This picture is an attempt to capture her melting into my legs as I was laying on the couch feeling under the weather.
